This certification is for enterprise architects responsible for architecting and designing Java EE compliant applications.

This exam is designed for candidates with experience (typically 5 or more years) in the following areas: Application design: concepts and principles, common architectures, integration and messaging, business-tier technologies, web-tier technologies, Java EE technology, patterns and security.

To achieve this certification, candidates must successfully complete three elements: a knowledge-based multiple choice exam, an assignment and an essay exam.
